my experience with this surgery of late has been good at all getting a appointment to see your GP or another is impossible

Hopeless trying to get appt. via phone. Ring too early NO reply or answer machine. Ring dead at 8am held in numbered line. If you get thru nothing available for 14 days min. Tried to turn up at the surgery at 8amto make appointment almost had to wait outside in the cold so many people trying to get appt.plus trying to get an unreserved parking space. Although I'm in my seventies other than the flu jab I visit surgery bi-annually thank god. Last time I needed medical attention went str.to St/M/ville,got seen and treated same day and even given sandwich lunch.Despite being closed on a regular basis for STAFF TRAINING and other excuses,the quality of service is rapidly falling especiallyinthe reception area. OK I said my piece.

Appointment system is a complete joke. You are only allowed to ring for an appointment at 8am. After waiting in a queue for 30 minutes "your call is important... you are number xx " I asked for an evening appointment, only to be told there's none left and ring back tomorrow. I had to be rude and insist they check their system. So was told I could have an appointment at 8.50 1 week later. Today, I get a text reminding me I have an appointment tomorrow at 08.50. So, not the evening appointment I asked for. Some of us have to work and cannot simply take time off at a moment's notice - it has implications throughout the whole (small) staff team - hence my specifically asking for an evening appointment.

It is totally unacceptable that the doctor fails to keep a telephone appointment. We have a long wait for test results, another wait for a telephone appointment for results and then the doctor does not bother calling.

Trying to get an appointment is a joke! Told to have to wait until the doctor is in to make an appointment - why you can't book in advance is a joke ! Surely try can see their diary online - End up waiting weeks to get appointment ! Red tape nonsense!!!
